Dwight Schrute is the MAN!
I was originally a big fan of the british version. When I heard they were gonna make an american version, my initial reaction was "that's gonna suck." And thats the reason i started watching the american version, to see how much it will suck. But surprisingly, i actually really liked it (i'm ignoring the pilot episode cuz that really wasn't good). From the second episode (Diversity Day) on i've really been following the show. I now prefer Dunder-Mifflin than Wernham-Hogg. I think most critics now give the american version high praises because the show has truly come on its own. For me, it was a good thing that the british version lasted only 2 seasons because as much as i love the original, the story lines were way to depressing and bleak. I wouldn't have been able to watch it for a long time. I guess i relate more to the American version. But really the american version is now in its fourth season and its so very different from the original show that its like comparing apples and oranges. From someone who love both shows, I just stopped comparing the two and just sit back and enjoy both shows for what they are worth. And both are worth comedy gold!Originally Posted by BertR

@blur: Thank you so much for your helpful comment..
I might just try the American version and see for myself. I love Steve Carrell, anyway.
the office,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
ganahan sad ko ani. matay ko ug katawa! haha
naa ba new episodes? affected sila sa strike or wa?
They are definitely affected by the strike since 4 of its regular actors, Steve Carell (Michael), Mindy Kaling (Kelly), BJ Novak (Ryan) and Paul Leiberstein (Toby) are also writers for the show. When the strike was announced they did not show up for work. So even if they had extra scripts already written they couldn't shoot it, not without the actors, especially Steve Carell. They were one of the first ones to shut down production early on the strike. The last episode was called The Deposition.![]()
i hope those producers would give in na lang so that the strike will end na... i'm waiting for the entire season to end before i start watching season 4.
next episode is on Thursday US. available torrents probably on Friday night or Saturday morning.
