It's ironic that people ignored this Zoid when it popped in good numbers in Ebay at a cheap price...nowadays the market value has skyrocketed considerably. The original mold was the Japanese released Orudios in white/blue/red color but this one was a mass market release only in America.

    BOX SHOTS:

Box is thin....prolly has the same thickness as Rainbow Jerk's box

Evil P is supposed to be an Empire Zoid but it has the small Old Republic logo

One unique thing about Evil P is that you have to built the motor that enables him to make his wings move and...Nowadays parts like these are pre built but as you can see you have to build it.

    Evil P with a Grade-Up Unit #2 or G-Unit #2

Only the G-Unit #2 will look good on him, but it's still not good enough for my standads IMHO

Notice that there are two switches.....one is the main switch...throw that on and Evil Peg Walks...however the smaller 2nd switch which is a lil bit to the upper right of the main switch will make him move his wings and head up or down while walking when switched on.

Evil P was marketed by a toy company called Kenner...remember (M.A.S.K. , Starwars, Silverhawks, Ghostbusters, Robocop and many more)

but guess who really made Evil P..

When pics of this guy leaked out, I immediately decided to get him because of his poseability and menacing looks.

When I my grubby hands on him. I immediately did not hesitate to open him up. Considering that this is the first wave of deluxes in the All Spark series, i noticed that the packaging have a different background compared to the earlier TFTM releases.

    VEHICLE MODE:

Although as a bot, Landmine never made an appearance in the movie except for his vehicle form which is a Chenowth DPV (Desert Patrol Vehicle). This type of vehicle or dunebuggy is currently being utilized by the US armed forces as a fast tactical scout especially in harsh terrains.

The nice thing about this particular figure is that each wheels have springs or shock absorbers. The gun on the roof is a nice touch but my complaint is that, it would have been nice if they painted him black instead of drab green.

    Comparison with an 08 Bee:

    BOT MODE:

Landmine is one of the more poseable figures from the movie line. However it's not as poseable as I expected it to be. True it has ball joints at the elbow and hand, the way the ball joints are constructed, you can move the lower arm sideways more than you are able to raise the lower arm. Another gripe is the feet, you can't seem to pull off poses with one foot since they are on wheels...so you can't pull off the kick test. Careful in handling him especially at the upper torso since the ball joints on the arms look thin and fragile. I must say though that the head design is unique, but I must admit he looks like a baseball umpire or a hockey goalie. I also find the hands a tad too big.

    Comparison with an 08 Bee:

    PROS:

More poseable compared to the other deluxes
    Reasonably priced
A good dune buggy or DPV transformer
Unique and kick azz head design
    Nice DPV mode

    CONS:

Ball joints on the arms look fragile
    Limited articulation at the arms
    Can't stand on one foot
    Drab green instead of black
    Large hands

I give this a :optimus: :optimus: :optimus: 1/2 out of :optimus: :optimus: :optimus: :optimus: :optimus:

side from Landmine...I was also anticipating to get my hands on this guy. True he is a repaint of the overhyped 08 Bee but I just simply love the mold that getting a red version wouldn't hurt.

    PACKAGING:

Just like Landmine, the card background shows the allspark instead of a mechanical eye.

    VEHICLE MODE:

Not much change to him, it would have been nice if there were some slight mold alterations. Booooooooooo on Hasbro by being lazy. Another gripe is that the tail lights were not painted at all. But looking at the rear section, at least Hasbro did something right by painting the Chevy logo. Aside from the red color, the translucent parts especially the windows and light piping are greenish blue compared to Bee

    Comparison with Bee..

    BOT MODE:

    Headshot:

Just like Bee he also has light piping.

    Comparisons

    PROS:

    1. Reasonably priced at SRP
    2. Good articulation especially at the upper body torso
    3. Stiffer parts
    4. Attractive paint scheme

    CONS:

    1. Could have had more changes
    2. Needs some detailing

    I give this out of

Vector Prime is an ancient Transformer, in fact one of the thirteen created by Primus to combat any threat posed by Unicron. He has the ability to alter time and look ahead in all possibilities within his sensor range.

When the Cybertron/Galaxy force came out, I was intrigued but never really had my hear set of getting him since I was really into another toyline. However since I caught the TF bug, I did a little research about him and after looking at pics plus after watching the Cybertron series. I decided to get him.

I really would like to thank Proto for the assist in getting this guy. I was able to get one at a decent price. Although the trade off is that he is loose without a box and missing his cyber planet key, but the packaging and missing accessory isn’t an issue for me.

    ANCIENT CYBERTRONIAN SPACECRAFT MODE:

One thing that appealed to me about him is that his alt mode resembles a Sith Infiltrator. Although I would have preferred the whiteness of the Hasbro version…but this one has more advantages. One of which is that it is more intricately detailed as you can see. Another is that the plastic used especially on the wings ate stiff and not bendy or rubbery like the Hasbro version. One thing I liked about him is that his sword, “Rhisling” can be tucked at the side of the front portion of the space craft. Aside from that, a missile can be fired off in the front. He also came with a minicon named Roots that can be mounted above the cockpit area. Which serves as a cannon/scout ship.

    BOT MODE:

Vector Prime looks very regal and well armed …he looks like a knight and can certainly pass off as an Autobot monarch since his wings look like a cape. The details work well plus he is well articulated. The Cyber Planet key can be inserted overlapping the chest area. It will make three sounds namely 1. engine sound 2. laser sound and 3. crashing sound. For the sound, he needs 2 AAA batteries. The compartment can be found on the front side in spacecraft mode.

He is also easy to transform. When I got this, he didn’t have any instruction sheet but his transformation was easy to figure out.

    MINICON ROOTS

His cannon/scout ship actually transforms into a decently articulated minicon. Although I am not really a fan of them, but he does remind me of the Targetmasters. Notice the articulation at the arms area and knees. This is a plus surprise.

Side by side with Vector Prime

    HEADSHOT

His head really looks like the Autobot symbol

    COMPARISON WITH OTHER BOTS

I thought he would be as big as the Voyager Classics Optimus Prime but he towers over him. I suppose he is an Ultra Class.

    FUN SHOTS:

    Kick test

    Passed !

    Knighting

The Autobot monarch knighting Optimus Prime…I know it’s prolly blasphemy but I like the idea.

    Action poses

    DA GOOD:

    1. Looks very regal / knightly in bot mode
    2. Well detailed
    3. Well articulated
    4. Good number of gimmicks
    5. Stiff plastic used for the wings and sword
    6. Reminiscent of the target masters
    7. Minicon/Targetmaster has decent articulation
    8. Very nice alt mode
    9. Easy to transform
    10. Tight jointed since most are ratchet joints

    DA BAD:

    1. Would have been nicer if he was more white.

    I rate this.. out of
