Yes. By a small (meter long) Philippine Python.

It was hiding in my 2 y.o. nephew's box of toys when he was looking for a particular toy. Lucky his yaya saw it before it could do any harm to the boy.

I had to wrangle it before it could run loose in the house. But as I held the snake, there was a 2 inch gap between it's head and my hand and it was able to turn it's head around and bite my hand (Ouch!). Porma ug letter U nga ga atbang and samad . I had to remove the snake from my hand very carefully because of the direction of the snake's teeth.

I only did it because I knew the snake wasn't venomous.

The son of my friend's farm worker was bitten by a Cobra. The boy died in a matter of hours. This happened in Leyte. Daghan kunong cobra didto.
