Toyota Wigo or Kia Picanto

I have a picanto but still consider wigo as a good buy for others. The toyota badge obviously helps from a marketing perspective.
Issue sa picanto is the aftersales service - feedback from most forums.

The major negative about sa wigo i've read sa groups and forums of wigo owners is yung rattling issue sa engine support. Kahit less than a year yung unit, this issue is the common complaint of owners. Hit and miss pa ang casa on fixing it. Some owners nasanay na lang sa rattling noise if the casa wasn't able to totally fix it.

Early 2014 Bro. Walang issue so far. Inikot ko na cebu province, brought it to dumaguete and bacolod. Every 5k kms ako magpa service sa Kia.

I'd suggest join the fb groups of both picanto and wigo to help you decide. Both groups are active and transparent sa mga issues encountered sa respective models.

Early 2014 Bro. Walang issue so far. Inikot ko na cebu province, brought it to dumaguete and bacolod. Every 5k kms ako magpa service sa Kia.

This is absolutely true. I know someone who works at Toyota. Mangawt nalang kuno sa ulo ilang mga technician kung naa napod musud nga Wigo magpa ayo tungod anang rattling issue. Lol. Lisud man gud kuno i diagnose and i-fix. so most of the time, dili ma ayo. Mao daw na ang issue kasagaran sa mga Wigo owners nga magpa repair nila. Mao wala ko ga Wigo hehehe.

Ang interior dli kaauko nahan.. Pati iya likod sa lingkuranan dli 60/40 sa picanto. Naa tanan.. Kaso ang kagul an basin ang makina pod basin didto ko bawion .. Chevrolet Spark boss, testingi lang sd kung maka-uyon ba ka.
bisag 1.0 kay 4 cylinder na. para nako mas maayo ang 4 cylinders compared sa 3 cylinders especially kung long drives.

picanto kay nindot sukad pas ilang first models...
wigo murag generic rag nawng...but then again, it's a toyota...

agree kong bai kit, hehehe...

if looks don't matter to you and if you want to buy parts anywhere like even in mercury drug (of course i am being sarcastic), go get Wigo...

if looks and features and overall handling matter to you, then get Pica...

ayaw na mo ka guol nga "korean" ang Kia... korean cars are way better now than 10 years ago... my sister's Rio EX is 95k mileage now and just turned 3 years old... no problems so far but regular PMS and constant tire change...

ultimately, test drive both... check the interiors and handling... i'll bet you'll probably say "Pica" is my choice...

if i am in your shoes, i'd get the Pica anytime...
