Honourable Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong
    Prime Minister Office

    Dear Sir,
I’m writing this note to represent the concern of ordinary Singaporean over the perceived influx of Filipinos holding Employment Pass (EP) and the S-Pass in the employment sector.
    2. The huge numbers of the Filipinos workers in Singapore is causing social problems and resentment among the local community who are struggling to keep their jobs or unable to find suitable employment due to the present of the Filipinos workers in almost every strata of the employment sector.
    3. From my personal experience, the Filipinos workers are not truly well experience and professional in their works except that they’re willing to accept lower pays than the Singapore workers. This has lead to the employers preferring the Filipinos over Singaporean. Such unfair and unreasonable practice is unbecoming. Singaporean has to seek reasonable and realistic wages from their employer as the cost of living is high and their financial commitments are heavy.

    4. Lately; several offensive and provocative posting were made in the cyber media by some Filipinos towards Singaporean in general and the Muslim community. The unbecoming conduct is a result of the Filipinos workers failed to assimilate and conforming to the local society.
    5. Lastly, I seek that the relevant Government agency reduce their provision for the Filipinos workers as there are other Nationalities that is as good and competent like the Filipino workers.
    6. Regard.

    Jafri Basron

Mao ni problema sa ubang tao. Gihimong outlet ang fb sa ila frustrations. Wa sila kahibaw nga it cheapens them nuon kay ang magbasa maka ingon nga kining tawhana kuwang sa breeding. Kadaghan ko kabasa ug walls nga manaot ug ubang tao, like mamasangil nga mangingilad or maningil ug utang ibutang sa wall basta wa mabayri. So cheap for me.
