allow me to share mine... taod2x na ni sya'ng nga 9 % health. mga 7 months after napalit ug nagamit nko ni sya ag start ug 9 % health rate na lang... ambot, kanus-a ni maguba... hehehe... personally, wla ko'y salig aning HD Sentinel...
also, got another 160 GB HDD (WD Caviar Blue) na nag 9 % pud ang health nya. 1998 pa to nko na palit ug nagamit then in less than a year from its purchase and installation, nag 9 % health pud. akoa na lang gihatag, hangtod karon, still functioning at 100% performance as an OS, Program and File drive... daily gigamit pa gyud as of this date... basin the sun was shinning on me for 2x... ehehehehe...
pero, wala man ta'y lain way to check the health of our storage devices kundi sa apps like HD Sentinel and/or others w/ the same function, better, tuo na lang ta para dili ta mag nga-ab ug hilak in the near future kun mag crash then ma nga wala ang important files kay wla nag back up... ako, mixed emotion pa ko ani nya... just my personal opinion based on my 1st hand experience. ang uban dha, lain man pud ang experience nila. basta ang work around nako kay... "I just removed HD Sentinel" in my rig para wla'y samok sa mata... akoa lang gi install sya balik ganiha para ma share nako ang result sa akoang HDD diri sa discussion thread then un-install HD Sentinel after... hehehe...
