We need to face reality. We should not keep these kinds of thinking "we just need to put the right people;our government is good if politicians are honest; if only politicians are not selfish..." that is devoid of reality. Government is composed of people. What you are asking are angels and saints.

sorry to burst your bubble. Ramon Magsaysay used public coffers to grant an illegal loan to Cojuancos to acquire Hacienda Luicita. HE is as responsible to the plight of the farmers as the Cojuancos.

Unless walay "panagang" ang right people against judgmental pinoys, walay mo risgo nga tarong na tawo. Ug naa man gani kay tungod napugos or wala'y paki.

I sincerely doubt we all have the same concept of what is "tarong". There are none. Walay tarong na tawo para sa gobyerno.

Let us think on the pros and cons before going to Federalism. Also, what is our purpose of choosing such? If we only want to end corruption, do you think Federalism will solve this or will make it worst? Maybe we should start and take part of the solution based on our current state. By that, we will be able to have a strong determination that we really need a change of government. Some have said we need a strong President to fight those corrupt and criminals. Some propose to change the constitution or even put some laws as deterrents to corruption. Many supports decommissioning the country and have its own republic. Only few have encourage to change our culture and promotes patriotism.

    So where we shall begin?

^we begin by eliminating unnecessary laws. Laws that empower the government to exercise arbitrariness.

Unnecessary laws will still be useful if closely monitored and amended to fit to the current. On the other hand, crowdsourcing maybe the best way to achieve unvague and non-overbroad bills before passing into laws.
