sheeesssh...
my sincere apologies.... I got carried away a little bit.
....... I think heintz has a very nice suggestion.![]()
rules are shown in the registration agreement. furthermore, the rules are in a global announcement thread... there are just some people who don't care to read or follow them.
Bitaw BeoRski, not very familiar with the BS rooms pero unsa man gani imo ma come up nga decision, okay ko ana.
Hello , just some thoughts..
Di ba ang adult forum naa man requirement before maka post or maka-sulod man gali, and that is someone should be able to back you up. Why don't istorya make the same requirement for the buy and sell forum. Especially sa mga sellers, kay in my personal opinion, the transaction ,some already involve thousand of pesos, and does istorya get anything from this transaction? No di ba..
So before you become a seller you should present your credentials, meet with the moderators, set up a meeting ba kaha before you can be approved to be a seller and thus can be approved to create a thread. So Istorya will be able to control this area of the forum, thus avoiding those fake/wannabe/fraud sellers.
As for the buyers, well mebbe the sellers can have a little delete access on their own thread lang sab, thus only allowing those inquiries nga they feel fit for the thread.
gamitan nato og UML para matarung![]()
@BeoR, another suggestion though is for Mods to put a disclaimer on the beginning of every thread in the BS rooms. “Istorya.net is not liable for any buy and sell transactions consummated on this website” or anything to that effect just to keep both buyers and sellers aware of the problems that may occur in the future. So whoever would go ahead and push thru with their transactions are doing so "at their own risk".
I know this would be a daunting task but somebody’s got to do it someway somehow. And I’m pretty sure somebody among you guys (Mods) would be more than willing to volunteer to do this job. I would if I could, but I am just a lowly newbie.

a disclaimer is a good idea.
a disclaimer already exists on the registration page.
Honestly, I don't think that over 30% of all iSTORYA members have read the rules and regulations in it's entirety upon registration, and that's a conservative estimate. Just like installing any other software or programs, most of us don't read the terms and conditions specially the fine prints. It's not even a guarantee that putting a disclaimer on each thread under buy/sell/trade that all the said "anomalous transactions" would end. For sure it won't, maybe it'll just minimize the occurrences. But the good thing is, you can always point to the disclaimer on the said thread every time a transaction goes awry. Then the blaming game would have an end. I believe you guys can add a “disclaimer” that would be automatically generated on each new topic posted under buy/sell/trade. This would be a challenge to all iSTORYA administrators. You guys have done a good job with this website, this would just be “icing on the cake”.* *Originally Posted by BeoR

@n'gel, I had my own share of dubious and failed transactions over the net albeit not on iSTORYA. I've lost a couple of grand in the process, so i know how it feels like getting duped. I've been doing transactions on EBAY as a seller for 4 years now(this stuff happens regularly when you're transacting over the net and it's a whole different animal when you're dealing internationally). Back to the topic, I am also a regular on iSTORYA and all the other local websites reading threads, news, classifieds etc. just to while away my time (Originally Posted by n`gel

). But it was just recently that I registered so I can post 3 laptops to test the waters here in iSTORYA when BeoR posted this topic. This is basically BeoR's way of finding ways and means to prevent them (spammers and whoever are ill motivated to prey on hapless buyers and sellers) from doing so. I've only got less than 10 posts and less than 10 days in my name but I think I still have a lot to offer... as far as suggestions go on this particular topic. So please look past that "newbie" status coz basically we're all on the same team.* * *
