wasap2! update lang, since I think nag hinay2 nag kahalin ang mga Nexus 4 sa world, nangita nalang kog mga "Alternatives" mehehe. So far akong nakitan kay Huawei Ascend P6, ngita kog 2nd hand, daghan sa Manila so didto guro ko papalit (naa man ate ngadto as of now) next in line kay LG Optimus G although di lang kay ko sure kay mixed feelings ko sa LG since di kayo na sila nindot og record, ang last option would be a Galaxy S3, though nindot ang S3 mejo common ragud siya and I don't really like its looks, mura siyag duwaan.

So phones in order of preference:

-LG Nexus 4
-Huawei Ascend P6
-LG Optimus G
-Samsung Galaxy S3

comments guys? samot na sa Ascend P6, daghan nag ingon na laggy daw siya ig duwa (tinuod ni?) comments lang sa Ascend P6 of Optimus G for those na nakagamit na, daghan na kayog comments and reviews ang Nexus 4 og ang S3 gud.

mas nindt ang optimus g kysa sa p6 boss. ang optimus g kai mura rjd xa ug nexus 4. same specs rajd and even the hardware is more or less the same. i own an n4 and am close with someone who owns a G. super similar rjd ang duha.

slightly higher sad ang pixel density, and screen resolution sa G compared to the p6. and glass sad ang back sa G if you find that nice. hehe. naa sad xai LTE. ang p6 wala.

advantage sa p6 kai ma butangan ug sd (sa single sim version) which could really be important someday.

di man kayo ko storage hog boss. buhi ra gani sguro kog 8gb storage (provided na the full 8gb jd)

mao ba boss? I like the P6 kay nindotan ko sa iyang form factor (hehe) pero ganahan sad ko sa itsura sa Optimus G kay glass iyang back same sa nexus 4. Actually, mao nang ganahan kos duha kay glass front and back pero ang N4 kay Google man gud so it gets updates first which is a big plus.

Di nako need ang LTE kay walay LTE signal diri (wa nami cebu gapuyo, vacation nlng ko dira). I heard man gud na dugay2 pa ang 4.4 sa Optimus G which is a problem, nya ang mga 4.4 ROMS niya kay buggy pa daw kayos tanan (not gonna risk it).

Pero tanaw'un pa, next week paman ko mauli and things could change drastically

Ahhh mao ba? lahi sguro to na phone akong nakit'an na wala pay official 4.4 nya buggy pa ang ROMS. Tanawun lng niya nako, naa koy few nakitan nga 32GB nga barato2 ra. Maka gamit ba ka og Google Now bisag 4.4 na ROM?

Tnawun nako ang xda bi. hehe

EDIT: Checked xda, very lively dev support for the Optimus G. Also found sweet deals on some used nexus 4s online. kaso naa sa manila pero I can have my classmate deal for me nya ipadala nalang. mehehe.

so the question now is: Optimus G vs Nexus 4

Pro Optimus G:
-more storage
-better battery life (daw, from reviews)

Pro Nexus 4:
-Nexus phone (gets updated first)
-I like the shiny glittering things sa back


on one hand naa koy 2nd hand na Optimus G which is the same price sa Nexus 4 na 2nd hand pud (mahal2 lng guro gamay ang N4 kay ako paman e pa ship) then naa sad ko unused, technically brand new Optimus G na 2.5k mas mahal, siguro ma haggle down pa nako to less 1k or mayta less 1.5k.

Kamo, what do you guys think? Optimus G for storage or Nexus 4 for updates? Mangita guro kog DLNA (Miracast) capable adapter para sa among TV para maka tnaw kog movies via streaming from the phone, pero I won't be saving a lot of stuff sa phone man sad kay ang TV og ang akong PC pila ra ka metros gikan sa usag-usa

Hehehe. I had the exact same dilemma k2 nangita kug n4. Hehe. If mag search ka sa net for reviews sad, mag libug sad cla If n4 or G. Peru since ga apas man jd kas mga roms boss, go for the n4. Hehe. Peru G is a really good alternative. Hehe. Both are sort of relatively rare phones sad so d common so chue jd f maka tag.iya ana. Hehe.

Wala rman sad nai case regarding battery life sa G kai f sa N4 you can do a lot of tweaks with ur roms.

hahaha. I've made my most objective, non-biased decision. hahahaha. Try nako pangita N4s first kay naa man barato, pero if that doesn't go well, then mag Optimus G nalang ko katong bnew na barato2 rasad. mehehe
