why is porn always associated with women?? in *** videos, do we not see male actors? Pornography deals with both sexes not only women. So please dont say that only women are being oppressed. As for my view on pornography, there are these so called professionals, which i dont find any wrong in it, its their jobs. But those 18 years and below models and those "Scandal videos", now that's a different thing. Its both immoral and unethical, violation of privacy. A total downsizing of human rights.

We guys and gals are speaking in behalf of being a FILIPINO who grew up with strong values . Try to discuss that issues with people of western culture including the westernized FIlipinos .... magkatawa lang sila why the big deal and issues us are making of with the topic of PORNOGRAPHY ?

We have the values, we have the religion, we have the culture...why not keep it.

1. Filipino values? Does everyone in the world have to fit into Filipino values?
2. Immoral? Immoral to who? Immoral to you? ... or immoral to all? Who is anyone to condemn pornography as immoral? Not until the Victorian era was pornography considered pornography. Rome, arguably the greatest empire to ever rule Earth worshipped it. Ancient Greeks, the fathers of Western Civilization (yes that includes the Philippines), did the same. Who are you?
3. Filipinos brag about values, but yet growing up in Cebu, there was NEVER anything that stopped me from getting my fill of smut as kid! We have values? But we just don't practice it? We just don't control it? ... or even try to? We just keep talking about it. More and more I feel that these values only exist in tradition, not practice.
4. The US is far ahead of Filipino society. The US still discusses it, the country knows it exists ... but it has gotten farther as a society to know that it cannot be snuffed out (although some try), but it surely can be controlled so that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. The country has gone through Deep Throat. How far has the Philippines gone into being open about pornogrophy and offering concrete solutions? It is not enough to say ... DO NOT DO WATCH PORN BECAUSE GOD WILL PUNISH YOU AND IT IS AGAINST FILIPINO VALUES! I would personally like watching porn over going to church and listening to how many ways I'm going to hell.
