Bass?? Try Philips O'Neill Tread kay mungisi nalang ka sa kaboto sa bass

Sa akong nahibaw-an, mao ni kailangan nimo e-consider:
    1. Frequency response - dapat single digit gasugod freq response nimo prehas sa Tread nga 5hz.
    2. Driver Size - mas daku mas powerful ang bass ihatag.
    3. Closed-type - para mas madunggan nimo ang low frequencies (bass)
    4. DJ-type - ang monitoring and other types of headphones aren't for bassheads
    5. Player - Android user? Download ViperFX para ma-maximize nimo imung headphone

I personally use Audio-Technica SJ55(made for dubsteps, rock, electro kinds of music). Though balance ang e-reproduce nga music ani niya, with ViperFX napagawas nako iyang powerful bass

    hope this helps TS

Kanang giingon nimo nga single digit frequency, marketing gimmick ra na. 20hz is even inaudible. Those people who can are either one of the few gifted with "golden ears" or are just claiming without proof.
Technically frequency reproduction as low as 40hz is well and good, up to 30hz is desired and 20hz is exceptional.

I don't know sir pero naa gyuy difference sa pagka-powerful sa bass ang freq response.. I tried ASUS Vulcan ANC and my ATH-SJ55, same song, same settings sa Viper, same phone, same tanan niya naa gyuy difference ang reproduction sa music. Vulcan starts at 10hz and my SJ55 at 8hz. Same driver size ug type(closed) pero mas nilabaw gyud ang SJ55 labi na sa dynamic bass system. (wala diay nako gi-activate ang ANC sa Vulcan para wala'y distortion sa sound quality especially sa bass)

You cant distinguish between 5hz and 10hz because in the first place you cant hear frequencies that low. 16hz below is the threshold of human hearing. (Correction from my previous post of 20hz. 20hz is the average lowest freq people can hear.)

Wala ko ni-contradict or unsa, ni-agree paman gae ko nimo Sir @keropi with high respect kay sakto man sad gyud nga gimmick nalang ng in-ana kagrabeh nga low sa frequency pero I can't deny the better bass output from my SJ55. Maybe laen factor ang reason? Unsa kaha possible reason sir?

Kay daghan man gud ko reviews nga nabasahan labi na sa headfi.org, headfonics, & etc nga ang M50 kay phenomenal daw kaayug bass output nga 15Hz raman unta gasugod ang freq response niya(thought mas daku iyang driver). Unsa gyud kaha other factors

I dont know too bro. Basta im pretty sure that bass commonly from a kick drum is usually around 50hz-100hz. 20hz-50hz is already at the lower extremeties of bass instruments, referred as sub-bass and usually is synthesized sound na lang.

Heres a thing (I know this from woofer parameters, I dont know if it applies to headlhone drivers) the ideal frequency response curve is a straight line, but in actual is in the form of a hill. Kana sigurong M50 driver, ang peak sa curve nya falls in the bass range. It may all depend on the driver. I dont know too really.

you're being subjective but you're judging based on objective figures... para nako, way labot ng 10hz versus 8hz sa pagka better in terms of bass response ang SJ55... it's the overall design... and besides, as per bro keropi, inaudible na ang 20hz below for an average human ear... how much more for 10hz below... are you super human?

audio science is much much more complex than just looking at those frequency responses as declared by manufacturers... bottomline, let your ears decide...
