Kung fake na, mahal ra na for P170. Here in Manila tag P40 to P60 pesos ra per pair. Puede na said, kay soft man ang rubber so comfortable to wear.

Though, ako mo palit na lang ko ug islander kay long lasting for sure.

Anyway, I bought an original one... the one with the flag. I now understand why this slipper is very popular and expensive... super comfortable siya iwear... humok kaayo.

By the way, don't buy fake ones gyud... nothing beats the original

Naa sa'y fake nga na'ay flag so don't be deceived. If it's the price is too good to be true. then it's fake. btw, the fakes are just as soft and comfortable to the feet. FYI.

Just buy at those authorized dealers to avoid getting fakes. Although those fakes may be comfortable and soft also, I don't believe they're the same with the original ones. Of course, you can only tell the difference if you've tried both.

Of course they are not the same, kay the fake ones cost 1/10 the price hehehe. I wonder, is it possible if they come from the same factory somewhere in China? Hehehe, maybe sa materials lang ang difference, or maybe the same. =)

The original is expensive because of overhead (rent, advertisement, shipping, shop floor labor) that's why. I remember a case study once back in college in USC. The actual cost of a designer perfume is 1/10 its selling price. The rest of what you're paying for is the advertisement cost and packaging.

So go figure. Am not saying, you go ahead buy the fake ones. Just presenting what could be facts. I suggest palit na lang ta Islander, proudly Cebu made and very durable. Hehehe
