ive been to the seagate service center. u would need the receipt to avail of the replacement sa hard disk. and also, there are 2 suppliers sa seagate hard disk. if u bought the hard drive from one supplier. the other supplier will not replace the hard disk. even if u have the receipt.
maayo lang if ur living in manila. tua man tanan ang mga replacements ngadto. and it will take 1-3months for the replacement nganhi sa cebu. depende if naa sila stocks.
im not defending the people katong nag post ug rma here sa istorya. ila lang gi negosyo ang rma for the convenience sa owner sa defective hard disk. u pay them a fee or they buy the defective hard disk from u. nya sila na bahala sa replacement. maayo kung sweto ka sa procedure. u can do it urselves.

I already did a couple of RMA with ram, motherboard, I was never asked for a receipt.
although you will pay for shipping the item back to the manufacturer.
they will pay for shipping the replacement to you.

Naa ko seagate HDD pero diri ko palit sa greenvalley!
wala syay resibo and already dead! Can they replace this?
