Maong mas sikat ang basketball dire sa whole Philippines kay accessible man gud kaayo ang basketball courts. rather than other sports that needs a field to play. example, almost all schools in the Philippines have a Basketball court. public schools or schools in general don't have the luxury of space to put a field in the school, adto sila sa basketball court kay multipurpose pwede ma convert into a vollyball/badminton/sipa takraw court.

Conclusion:
Basketball - Only need a Ring and a Ball to play and have fun.
Football - Needs protective gear to play kay bati e patid/dagan kung mag tsinelas ka or mag casual/rubber shoes sa grass/soil, naa sad na sa mindset sa tao nga mahadlok mo hamag/ilog sa bula kung dili mag spike shoes/boots kay mahadlok matumban/makatunok.

Ako sad mabantayan kay some parents can't support such gears for their son. Imagine kung ikaw ang parent with average salary, kung imong anak mo duwa ug basketball, pwede ra nimo palitan ug ball and rubber shoes (fights na kaayo nang Class-A sapatos sa ukay2). kaysa mo palit ka ug spiked shoes/boots, shin guard, gloves, knee socks and ball. pwede ra gani dili nimo palitan ug ball for basketball kay pwede ra manghuwam sa amigo kay you only need one ball to play. tiniil raman gani nang uban mag duwa basketball.

Most winter sports are God tier. Especially Ice Hockey. God I love hockey.

Pero, with regards with the Philippines, if the country in general became obsessed with baseball, it would do us a lot of good. Height wouldn't be as big a problem because di mani pareha sa soccer or basketball nga height is very important. I'm sure perme ta in contention sa mga international tournaments if we have as much passion with baseball as we do basketball.
