he is going to be a HOF. MVP career, Finals appearance, 24K points. and in his prime, before he supposedly started doing drugs, he did EVERYTHING that is expected of a superstar player. he didn't win a ring because his team wasn't as talented as the two Western powers at the time.

what would qualify as a "wasted talent" is if he started doing drugs/drinking and gambling during the prime of his career, which he didn't do.

Hopefully... since he is one of my idols in basketball... but my point is he could have done more... as in more... dba?

not really. like I said, he already did more than what was expected of him with the team that he had. I mean, he had many Playoff appearances during his heyday. and in one of those he took a bunch of D-Leaguers + Mutombo to the Finals and stole one game from the 2001 Lakers, who until the Finals have never lost a single game in the entire Playoffs. ever. that is incredible. and AI destroyed the Lakers in that one game almost by himself.

definitely wasn't a waste, and he did more than enough. he just wasn't lucky. he's in the same club as Barkley, Malone, Stockton, Reggie, Ewing, Gervin, Elgin etc.

nagkwenanggol si AI he was already way past his prime. he didn't waste his talent, he simply got old.

yes past his prime but not that old and there are still a lot of juice left... like kung c kobe pabaya pa sa lawas hagbay ra na cya nalaus but because grabeh iya work ethics mao na physically fit pa cya... like duncan, parker and many more...

AI was 33. there's not a lot of juice left even if he worked out like Kobe. hell, Kobe doesn't have a lot of juice left at the same age. and working out like Kobe might be detrimental for AI and would just break his body down faster since he had a very high usage rate, and played 40+ mpg in his prime. he'd practically overwork himself.

also Parker is still 29. he is not old. and Duncan was terrible from 2009-2012. he had a resurgence last season because he "took a break" those 3 seasons. and Kobe's laus na for a long time.

anyway, it seems you're dead set on thinking Allen Iverson was a wasted talent because he could have done more when he was already past his prime. *shrugs*
