gas does not necessarily move upwards, it's just that there are some gas that is lighter than the other sa they are forced to move upward, gravity does affect gas movements, it's just they are so light that they seem to move upwards, especially heated.

    (correct me if i'm wrong)

Just imagine the ocean keeping boats or lighter/less denser objects afloat on the surface. Same thing with heavy gases versus light gases in the atmosphere.

Well its like this the density of an object will determine how it places itself around other objects that do not have the same density. This means low density objects always are on top of the higher density ones.

An example is Gas will always go up as a bubble when it comes from the sea floor. Further, inert gases have different densities too so, so some of them don't stay near the surface while some do.

Speaking of gas and bubbles bah... Kung magkalalum ang dagat Diba mag kata.as ang pressure... Dapit Dili na unta mo form ug bubbles kay tungod sa pressure build up.... Or basin nag minoklo rasad ko.... Hehehe.... Paita aning walay lingaw oi....

You mean to say that the pressure is to great that when a bubble forms it implodes immediately? Pockets of air are not affected at all. They just go to the place where there is lower pressure and that is usually up. Temperature also plays a role when bubbles are being formed. Usually in greater depths bubbles are very minute because the water is very cold. I don't know the scientific rationale for this. But cold water does not bubble as much as warm or room temperature water.

This does prove the rationale why you should not surface immediately after diving. You need to acclimate with the pressure and temperature so that the gases inside you can be removed properly, preferably through your lungs since most of it is still in your bloodstream.

Yeah.. Kita man gud ko sa myth buster before about adto ilang dummy nga gbutangan ug kuan sa baboy man cguro then ila gsubject to the same pressure equal to pila ka meters in depth sa dagat... Then napuga man jud to... Basin cguro kay bubbles are made up of air diba... And air is incompressible mao cguro makaya ra...(not sure ha, cguro most air are pero sure ko water is) And sama sa imo go.ingon na gag may ang bubbles due to cooler temperature.... Pero kung ire search masulbad man jud bah... Nagtinapulan lang... Hahaha... Sa masulod lang huna.huna...

Una sa tanan, gravity jud ang reason ana TS. kung walay gravity mag lutaw2 rana ang gas bisag asa without direction. Ikaduha, based on thermodynamics, tanan nga matter naa manay gitawag nga Specific Weight. Most gases man gud kay mas gamay sila ug specific weight sa air mao mas mulutaw sila. Same explanation nganung mulutaw ang mantika sa tubig.

Based on aerodynamics, air is compressible.

TS mao na gitawag nga gravity ghapon ang gabira ana nila pa upwards...
