pasabot ana nya bro, 85% efficient and PSU at 50% load... so, dili sya usik ug kuryente... ug bugnaw ang PSU... wala'y masayang na electricity na i-convert ug heat tungod wala niya magamit...

based sa akoang gamit diri, ang mga rigs nko na nagamit ug 80+ Gold PSU kay bugnaw ang exhaust air (sa PSU) nila compared sa naka 75%, 80+ & 80+ Bronze certified lang... on idle and @ load...

Naa ko Silverstone 500w power supply less than a year used pa sige problema ko ato kay mag restart ang PC. Changed it to a cheap 500w Coolermaster power supply and nawala ang problema nako. i3 3220 lang man ako PC with 2 1TB HDDs and 8GB rams. Wala na video cards kay kalas kaayo time sige duwa.

Gi use nako ang Silverstone sa ako spare PC and its just as unreliable. Ipabalik ni nako ugma but that means I have to buy another power supply for my spare PC kay ibalik man nila ni sa supplier to check and it will be weeks before any feedback. Maski magpalit ko sauna generic power supply kay malapas man one year naa pa video card uy.

^ naka timing lang ka'g "lemon" unit bro... just claim your warranty... no need to worry...

^ma claim ba nimo ang factory warranty sa silverstone diri sa cebu or store warranty lang saligan nato??

  9. #29
^ at first, store warranty... then sila na ang mo forward ana sa distributor for a warranty... then ang distributor na for the manufacturer warranty claim... or, check sa site sa Silverstone regarding warranty claims... para ma verify ang process flow nila for the RMA (Return Materials Authorization)... need ni para sa pag pa ship nato sa unit did2 nila if mo dawat sila'g direct return from the end user for warranty claims...

I went to Fine Upgrades today to claim my warranty on the PSU. PCQB will not honor the warranty because I lost the receipt. I thought they would get the power supply and return it 30 or 45 days later. But they replaced it with a brand new one.

So inspite of having bought a lemon of a PSU the previous time, I believe the best back for the back PSU is Silverstone because of their unbeatable warranty. There are a lot of cheaper PSUs out there from 500w Thermaltake and Coolermaster though but in the long run, you will save money with Silverstone.
