i pray na if mag-invade ba jud na bisan kinsa diha, they will target airports or guard any other means para wala jud kagawas. sama sama tayong lahat.

but then again, hoping pud na dili mukhang pera kadtong ga-invade, basin under the table ra, naa na dayon exemption.

on a serious note, we can't do anything. bisan pa mag-buy ta ug mga unsa pa na armaments diha. usa ra ka nuclear sub sa china ang katapat natin. until then, we will have to play the good guys, martir mode.

if naa ba jud mga resources diha sa mga shoal, or unsa pa man, dili man pud kita makinabang ana. naa na mga private enterprise nakaabang dyan.

We really need to upgrade our military forces... Bisan ang around 1 billion na budget karon is not enough... If maundang lang ning corruption makapalit man jud ta...

Another solution is to stop giving pork barrels to senators and congressmen... Diba ang work man jud nila is maghimo ug law? So nganong hatagan pa man na sila na naa na man budget daan for improvements... Usually unfair pa kay ang ila jud unahon is ilang mga provinces... How about tong laing provinces na wala silay senator?

We badly need good military defense bisan dili maka pildi sa ubang countries like china, at least we can put a good fight, bisan malaras lang mga 10-40% sa ilang military ba.

Ayungin Shoal is even closer to mainland Palawan than Panganiban (Mischief) Reef, a Philippine territory that has been occupied and converted by China as its forward base and highly sophisticated naval facility in the West Philippine Sea.

The shoal is located 105.77 nautical miles from Palawan and forms part of the 200 nautical miles of the Philippine continental shelf under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).

Last week, one of the Chinese warships in the area chased the utility boat of Kalayaan Island town in Pag-Asa carrying 147 civilian passengers while passing by Ayungin Shoal bound for Palawan

Founding of a New People's Army
The 1960s saw a revival in nationalism and patriotism, especially among the youth and students, in the Philippines. The ongoing Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in China, sparked a renewed interest in Marxist study, with emphasis on lessons from the Chinese Revolution. National democratic organizations such as the Kabataang Makabayan and other progressive groups began to see the need for a renewed armed struggle base upon Mao's strategy of protracted people's war. On December 26, 1968, the Communist Party of the Philippines was re-established on Marxist-Leninist-Mao Zedong Thought line. Adopting the strategy of protracted people's war, the CPP immediately went about organizing a new people's army. The CPP had previously made contact with former members of the Hukbong Mapagpalayang Bayan (HMB) - to which the Huks changed their name in the 50s - in Central Luzon. On March 29, 1969, the New People's Army or NPA was formed. It had only 72 fighters and was equipped with light weapons. After its initial formation, the CPP and the NPA dispersed and established regional cells in several parts of the country.

Luis Jalandoni, chairman of the NDF negotiating panel, said that the freeing of the rebels with immunity guarantees is an obligation of the government.
Government chief peace negotiator Alexander Padilla said that aside from their demand for the release of their detained consultants, the NDF also demanded that the Philippine government abolish its peace and development programs, including the conditional cash transfer (CCT) or cash dole-outs for the poor and the military's Oplan Bayanihan.
