i too want to start a new build, AMD na sad (current nako na setup rn, Lynnfield pa tawn)

ang lynnfield sa intel kombate pa kau na. small factor ra kau ang difference anang 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen not by a large margin. 1090T nako still going strong man gani gihapon gi ilisan rato nako ug GPU payts na pang gaming.

Speed, power consumption, price... Go for intel, it's the right choice...

people tend to exaggerate about the power consumption part but in reality you would barely see the difference depending on the set-ups being compared. Power consumption only becomes a factor if you're building above the hi end category.

100% agree ko ni sempron guy diri, sobra ra kaayo ka exaggerate ang power consumption part, I'm using both AMD and intel pero ang ako jud main pc is my AMD, personal experience mura same raman sa intel, many people say mas init ang AMD pero personally wala man problema ako PC average time naka on siya is around 20 - 24 hours, come to think of it walay aircon amo house kilid pa jud sa dalan medyo abog, so far for 3 years na ani ako PC wala jud ko problema ang na ilisan ra ani niya was the VC (upgrade purposes).... I dont think sa bill dako jud kaayo ang difference...

Or hd 7770 low price for better performance.. I can't really recommend going AMD sa pagkakaron, wala pah kaau clay maikapanghambog, this generations Intel processors are built smart. Power efficient cya kay matog cya if dili gamiton. Then in terms of bottlenecking, not unless magamit nka ug high-end video cards in sli or crossfire configuration, diha rah pud nimo ma feel nga na.bottleneck kah sa imung cpu.. my advice is upgrade on your GPU and stay with the procie.. Play games lang that are not too CPU intensive...
