Anyway, na hibong ko, sa initial interviews nila with HR and SOM, I think part of their questions would be to ask you about your work history... did they tell what about it nga wla nimo na pasaran sa ila background check? coz if it was something nga na mention na nimo during your initial inrterviews then ila ka pipa pasar sa interview then maka question jud ka why gi hagbong ka kalit dba? but if it's let's say for example, they saw na naa ka mga companies na wla nmo gi include sa imo resume coz ni awol ka ato or mga ingana nya when they asked pud you sa imo interview wla ka ni mention or ni angkon ato, then I guess you can't blame them coz ikaw man ni lie nila in the first place.. pero mao na, wla pud mi kbalo jud sa details sa imo story
    Naa pud kay point. Everythings in the resume. SOM asked me detailed to detailed ? about my employment. Maybe they just want to test how far I can really GO. I was in silence when they informed me that I did not make it obviously I was hurting that time. Just like that w/o thinking about how I would feel. Anyways whats done is done. I can live w/o them. Ako lang jud is 3 weeks waiting ko for the final/client interview, on/or the final interview they should have informed me that I did make it.

    OK ra na karma nalang ako nila.

    Last February 26 I went to EXL Recruitment office 2nd Flr FGU Blg. I walked in as an applicant. They interviewed me. I passed the initial interview, I passed their written exam & typing skills. Remarks was excellent so the recruitment specialist told me.

    Recruitment specialist advised me that their operations starts next month April & I have to wait for a call for the final interview. Last Tuesday March 12. I recieved a call from them for the lanaguage assesment test. I passed was told to come to the office for the Final Interivew.

    March 13, Final Interview 3:30PM. I was their early. Account SOM for more than 30minutes interviewd me, then came music to my ears. She said I made it & she will be endorsing me to next stage which is the client interview.

    March 14, Client interview 10:30PM. We were 6 scheduled that day. I was 2nd to the last to be interviewed. Then their was A celebration after the final stage. SOM said "Congratulations We all Made It". We were told to come back Friday March 15 for the Job Offer. Client remarks was even all praise for me.

    Client said I was professional & one even mentioned "I love this guy".

    After that announcement. SOM called my attention. She asked me to to stay awhile. She said I did not make it. She said my employment history did not pass their requirment. I was suddened with what I heard. I was hurting hearing all this from her.

    MY QUESTION IS: Why after a few weeks of waiting. WHY? After the Final & Client Interview was I just informed about this. This so unprofessional.

    They should have informed me that I did not qualify for the job in the weeks waiting or/on the scheduled Final Interview. I would have somehow understand. BUT WHY after all the processes & interview. I came this far just to be turned down.

    My ISTORYANS whats youre recommendation. Do I have the right to complain for this unfair practice?

    Do we have a local bureau who handles BPO concern. Who can help me with this unprofessional manner of handling an applicant. They dont have any regards to my feelings.

    Anyone?
    Hi,

    there is an association for BPO's. I think you can air out your concern to Call Center Association of the Philippines, that is if EXL is already a member, if ever they are not. So sorry.

    Hope this helps

    @TS,

    what about your "employment history" na wala ka kapasar?
    if naa kay sala sa imo previous company, then I think sakto ra na gibuhat sa company,
    the company deserved to learn anything about the applicant and they have the right to reject any applicant or employee if
    the said person gave or hide any deceitful info from them, they are just trying to protect their business.

    and also, BPO companies and their HRs have their groups and constant meetings, so what you did in one companies are shared in another companies..

    So becareful lang jd mo. Karma works both ways bya.

    @TS,

    You already got a clue that your employment history fails you from being accepted. Ask them directly if you want answers, not here. Or maybe ask yourself why. Bad mouthing your present employer and the company you applied for will not help.

    hahaha nice one. I have been cleared with all the companies I have worked for. Maybe this is just their way of processing applicants. No harm done. I was just hurt with my own expectations & I'm sorry if u taught so.
