oh you didnt know? NK hates americans and USA in general, they need special VISA to get to NK, and most of the times its through China.
even inside the NK they will have an special escort to guard them with what they need to do in the country.

I had watched natgeo's "don' tell my mother" series and it features one time their visit to NK. There it shows a lot of americans in the country, that's why im surprised why it was a big deal. So does it means those americans up there are also on a special visa?
