Some suggestions for iSTORYA

What I really meant was, the web program itself should automatically detect
if an image is present on that particular thread, without having the user select an icon.

Instead of the istoryans try to open each topic and try to look if there's a picture attached.
It would be encouraging for thread starters especially in BuyandSell section to post a picture
for their products to sell. (but that is if you encourage istoryans to post images)

Most of the topics in buy and sell can already be understood from the title itself,
but most of the viewers only opt to click and open the topic only to figure out if a
pic is already attached.

For example: Title: "FS: 4mos. old Toyota Vios in good condition 500k only"
From the example above, I believe one of the reasons why istoryans view the thread, is to look for a picture. if there's none...
then... reply "please post pics!!", hit the back button several times and look for another interesting topics... open the thread again... so on and so forth...

If there's only an indication that the thread doesnt have any image attached, then many istoryans could have saved precious time. =)

i haven't noticed any SMF mod that can do that.

maybe the webmaster can devise his own mod if ever he believes that is necessary.

for the meantime, the only way to do that is to use the message icons as i have stated above.

Sirs and Madams, maybe the frequency of debates, which results in posts being off topic, in 'Spirituality and Occult' may be reduced if it has child boards like: 'Occult', 'Religion', and 'Philosophy', for example, and the mother board may perhaps be named, 'Spirituality & Philosophy'.

There seems to be crowding of topics. Currently, threads of "minority" interests like occult and philosophical ones get buried under the predominant interest - religion. If religion get's its own child board, then other interests may have free reign for discussion.

Topics on the occult maybe large enough to stand separate from religion. Philosophy, another search for truth but, using reason, may also stand on it's own. It may also be possible to merge occult and philosophy in one child board.
