Seriously, dili man necessary na uyab jud ang i-date, puedi man family. Kung single ka, mas maau magset-up ka ug date para sa imu parents. Malipay jud sila ana, then mo strengthen pjud ang relationship sa imu parents and its all bcoz of you. Wouldn't it be nice?

You can still do those "valentines thingy things" even if its not valentines day. So why problem?

And just to save money, maypag PUYO. Coz valentines day is soo costly esp for the boys (flowers, restaurant fees, movie fees, gasoline or plete fees, girl fees haha joke)

Btw, for me mas sweet kung di valentines day ka makigdate, maypag isurprise ninyu inyung girl. An ordinary day will be a special day. What can you say?
