Am just glad he's not Pinoy. It's hard enough getting US visas for our kababayan - how much more if that shooter was a Pinoy. We don't need another reason to give us a bad image abroad - thank you.
The stupid idiot Korean gunman used 2 handguns. A 9mm and a .22 handgun - had 2 extra clips. A student said on tv that Cho Seung-Hui reloaded his handguns and was quiet and calm during the shootings. Didn't say anything and appeared to be expressionless which was quite eerie.
IF - his reason for the shootings was because his gf jilted him- then he's really an idiot. He can never justify the many innocent lives he took. He's not the the first guy who's been jilted by a girlfriend and he won't be the last.
I sure hope there won't be any copycats out there- cause this is really heartbreaking. A lot of the students killed were graduating in a few weeks and imagine the heartache/pain for the parents/relatives/friends.
^ I think specualtions is now true; Its in the news now - One of the Casualties was his Ex-GF. Ohh boy..What a Douche Bag!
the korean guy was planning for suicide but b4 that he just want to take with him as much people as he can. typical suicide with hatred.
bisan kinsa dha maka buhat man ani. suicide but hadlok mao ni dili mo among og tao but suicide with hatred kana mao nay kuyaw.

S. Korea ‘in shock’ over U.S. gunman’s heritage
Country expresses condolences after learning Va. shooter was Korean
Updated: 39 minutes ago
SEOUL, South Korea - South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said the country was “in shock beyond description” Tuesday after learning that the suspect in the shootings at Virginia Tech university was a South Korean native.
The alleged shooter — identified as Cho Seung-hui, 23 — had been in the United States since 1992, Cho Byung-se, a ministry official handling North American affairs, told reporters late Tuesday. No further specifics were given.
“We are in shock beyond description,” said Cho Byung-se. “We convey deep condolences to victims, families and the American people.”
He said there was no known motive, and added that South Korea hoped that the tragedy would not “stir up racial prejudice or confrontation.”
South Korean diplomats were traveling to the site of the shooting, Foreign Ministry spokesman Cho Hee-yong said.
Earlier, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency said the suspect had gone to live in the United States while in primary school and had permanent residency there while maintaining his South Korean citizenship, citing an unnamed official.

Based on my initial investigation...
He's taking up Major in English.. so it made me thought as well that he just misinterpreted an assignment given to him by his professor. jokhs![]()
OMG! matatak na dyud na.. hopefully dili ma-generalize na sya sa the rest of the Korean-Americans.. faet!
Based on Fox news reports-
Cho's described as serious, calm and deliberate. He left a "disturbing" note after the dorm shootings. His note rails against debauchery and rich kids. Debauchery - extreme indulgence in sensual pleasures. One of the women killed was a love interest but who was not interested in him. Victims found in 4 classrooms and stairwell. Cho lined them up and shot them one by one. Some of the students pretended to be dead.
He was taking medication for depression. His parents have a dry cleaning business and he has a sister who graduated from Princeton.
One of those killed was one of the top 5 bio-chemical engineering professor in the U.S. who was only 35 yrs. old. Another professor was a holocaust survivor who died blocking the classroom door so the students can jump out the window.
Joke lang hah- on the lighter side- ( somebody told me daghan jud daw buang2x nga Korean) - just basing on North Korea's KIM JUNG IL.
oy ka kuyaw gud ani nila..naa raba daghan korean sa Cebu..tsk
