yes it works great even without maps...coordinates...altitude...even speed if ur traveling hehehe...
tracks time of travel and distance...and so much more...

now naa ni siya cebu map but it isnt very detailed and its totally free
manila map is much more detailed with spots and destination database already

check out this review sa N95, bati kuha iya cam mas nindot pa ang N73. Naa may mga pics ila g compare. Ang batt sd dli mo abot og 1 day.

i would agree w/ baboy on this.. Nokia has given so much hype on this phone that sometimes it alienates us into thinking that this is a jack of all trade phone master of none device

whatever promotional ante that Nokia is giving on this phone for me, simply put it - is not a ONE STOP CONVERGENCE device.. you cant expect to pack all hoho features e.g. GPS, 5Megapix and etc.. into one measly device that fits on your hands.. and would expect to work all of them as you would like them to be..

up to now, there's simply no device that can be claim as a CONVERGENT device to fit to all your needs and work like a charm as you would expect them to be..

with regards to the camera, new firmware of the n95 does produce the best image from a cellphone camera ive seen including the n73. (flash photography as an exption to k800i with its zenon flash of course) video is in the top 3 ive seen and tested.

for me it does work out as the best convergent device and it does its features like a charm (way better than i expected...above average in almost all aspects...best in category in some) of course the only negative issue i have is the battery life...other than that, it works great

Just got mine a few days a go from globe Still getting use to it since ive been using SE phones for too long My P990 is now using my sun sim and n95 with my globe sim
