Simple ra na bro....
According to DTI, any original receipt provided by the seller to the buyer is a binding legal document already. Now di gyud na ninyo makuha ang resibo from the HK supplier because that is between the distributor (HK Seller) to the local reseller (The Ayala store).
Therefore, it is not your fault that the receipt you provided to iphone is not recognized. It is the sole obligation of your seller (the Ayala Store) to provide sufficient proof of purchase that will grant any repair or unit replacement.
In this scenario, best if you tell them that they are going against the DTI consumer acts law and if the seller (Ayala Store) cannot provide such proof or if they will not issue the replacement themselves then you can lodge a formal complaint against them through DTI.
Another tip, for iphone or any other technology based products (HP, IBM, Samsung, etc...) from what I know these brands has a list of AUTHORIZED RESELLERS and DISTRIBUTORS. Sa imong case TS, the Ayala Seller might not be an authorized seller for iphone (possibly this could fall under the black market).
So going back, if the iphone service center does not recognize your receipt then by means you go back to your AYALA SELLER and DEMAND that they do the unit replacement as their internal process.
