Having a 5" screen is not really an advantage... It's just too big to be a mobile phone... apple is very keen of about handiness that's the reason why they're careful about changing the width or the overall size for that matter.

Yeah. tell that to the more than 10 million people who bought a galaxy Note.

The 5" screen allows tablet functionality and is a big plus for web browsing. Instead of carrying a smart phone and a tablet, pwede 1 device nalang... (as long as it can fit in your pants or purse)


Before there were smart phones, there were PDA's and UMPC's with screen sizes near 5".

What Apple didn't consider is 5" screen size is a whole new category of device and is not just a "too big" phone.

It's more of a small tablet which happens to have phone function so u dont need to bring another device.

Browsing capability of a mobile phone is just an extra feature... IT IS STILL A PHONE! If my purpose is more on web browsing then i'd buy a tablet or mini tablet. BRINGING YOUR MOBILE PHONE JUST FOR BROWSING is pure stupidity. Seeing people surfing the web with their smart phone almost all the time looks pathetic and ignorant.
