Well it depends on what you mean by "violate." If it means coming into my home and murdering everyone because their "religion" tells them to, then I will of course retaliate. But if it's preaching a doctrine that's different to yours, you just have to suck it up and be tolerant.

The Jehovah's Witnesses have long tolerated the fact the there is the medical practice of blood transfusion although they don't subscribe to it. I respect them for that.

The RH Bill will be passed and people against it will be able to to tolerate it. That I am sure.

Again, the concept of god is tied with the concept of life after death, so since I don't believe in life after death, it naturally and logically follows that I do not believe in a deity or supreme being, the latter two being inventions by humans.

so atheists or not, we all DIE. we all share the same destiny.

i don't have any problems with one having a religion or belief. my grandma was a traditional catholic, my mother now a born-again christian, me more of a buddhist but not entirely, my other friends atheists. it's just how we make sense of life.

as with religious traditions, i know that there are some harmless, respectable traditions. i bow before the statue of the buddha because i think it's a cool, meaningful practice. i even bow before the memories of my ancestors now. I am just so humbled by the fact that they had lived through those wars, you get what i mean? doesn't the south china sea tension ever make you think about that also?

so for me, we try to make sense of life the best way we can and that is a common experience. my way may not be your way, and your way doesn't have to be mine. as long as we respect or at least tolerate each other then we can live in peace eh?

But the reality is there are some beliefs and practices that will overlap/violate the other. So ang pangutana unsaon pag settle and if kinsay sundon.

I agree with @SioDenz's response with this. Some of the beliefs and practices really clash on other people's beliefs and practices. That's why we need another governing body to be the mediator of our differences,i.e., the Laws and Rights imposed by the gov't. What's imp't is that what you believe in wouldn't step on other's rights.

We are all the same.
First, we are brought into this world in the same manner as everyone else. And despite having different beliefs, religion or whatever, our decisions will still be based on INSTINCT. Yes, we may have different beliefs and we're accustomed to certain rules and we try to follow them as much as we can, but we have this thing called our mind. Which lets us think freely.

For example...

For Christians, they have the ten commandments, but does that stop them from coveting their neighbor's wife? does that stop them from stealing? disrespecting their parents? killing? putting their God's name in vain? --- I think not.

For non believers, they also have certain rules like respecting other people's belief but don't they also clash with people who doesn't share the same opinions as they do?

I mean, these are just examples and I don't mean to offend anyone. These things are merely labels so to speak. Because everything still boils down to what we think and feel is right for us to do.

All the world's major religions in the world essentially believe the same core concept of the Golden Rule. It's a concept that predates Christianity and was built into the justice systems of the oldest civilizations. Even an atheist will understand the wisdom of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

exactly my point bro,if an Aetheist finds the bible unreliable yet follows the civil rights and Laws which are mostly taken from the Bible itself.it just contradicts the whole idea.one can't follow something that He doesn't believe in.that's why questions about morality often arises when conclusions are derived to just be a good person and not believe in God.
