AVG kay dili kaayo bug-at...

norton, mcafee, trend - mga bug-at mani sila....

bug-at man jud tingali nang mga antivirus kay i think naka high priority na sila or above normal...

mao na pang hambog sa intel nga dili kuno mo hinay if HT imo procie... og of course, more ram....

ako wah na gani koy gamit og antivirus kay waste of resources hehehe... besides, dili man sad ko online...

@ ate_debz wel kanang deep freeze actually ok mana siya basta e gamit nimo sa mga internet cafe gamit ko anang deep freeze sauna well dili jud ka makasalig kay naa raba jud virus na lisud matatang bisag e reboot pa so i suggest gamit ka antivirus den deep freeze sad para secure jud ba, pero naa disadvantage and deep freeze no kalimut ka disable imo mga save files ma wala jud

how about the files u transfer from a device/storage to ur pc. i think no matter how legit ur source is, still it needs to be counterchecked before it reaches ur pc. there are legit sofwares nowadays that are repack and bundled with killer codes.

the best antivirus for me is NOD32 antivirus. even if ur PC is P2 it wont slow down much more if ur pc is P4.

try it, its the best, any q's pm me.

i second the motion, NOD32 is the best antivirus pero i'm still runing Norton 2005 in my lappy i just change the date to 2006 or up when installing it pra madesguise nako ang expiry date..... :mrgreen:

I have used the following anti-virus

Norton Anti-virus...I was hit a couple of times using NAV...wala ka detect ug virus sa diskette...had to reformat the hard drive...popular mani siya bundled with most new PCs

Mcafee...I used version 7 professional for my laptop...very good...although it will really slow the system down especially the games...but for security againts malware, trojan and virus...wala pay naka lusot sa akong PC....

Panda....tried it a couple of times..dili ko maka comment ug ayo...i think they compete with AVG...mas daghan lang ang Panda ug features...

Trend Micro...my cousin uses it...He also switched from NAV kay ma ka hinay kuno ang NAV sa iyang system and usahay naa kuno maka lusot nga virus...Trend Micro is very good...file size dili kaayo dako

F-secure...I'm trying this one sa akong PC...so far its been doing fine...maka notice ka hinay gamay...Im planning to install sa office nga PC..Sikat ni sila sa mobile phone nga anti-virus(katong caribe, cabir, comm warrior) those using symbian series 60...akong brother nga phone 6260 naay cabir virus...download lang ka sa f-secure free ra man...unlike sa mga cell shop 150-300...save pa ko...

The thing sa mga anti-virus karon you need to update regularly....pero newer Mcafee, Norton, F-secure requires subscription so mag renew ka every year para tagaan ka ug updates....dili ko ganahan ani...i usually do manual update sa ako mcafee...i woud download the latest DAT file para mo update...dili ko mo salig anang autoupdate...autoupdate man gud they can see your pc and do what they want..its like sumpay inyong tina-i(intestine) sa ila...So wala gyud ko mo upgrade to Mcafee 9 or Norton 2005 kay pareha na sila subscription
