"Diin gikan" is a nice academic inquiry, but I would prefer, "where are we going?"

The Cebuano language is the product of (1) migration of Austronesians from Formosa (2) evolution of Malayan language and contact of Malayan speakers with people in the Philippines then and of course foreign influence 3rd to 4th century onwards. Maong daghan kaayo ug similar words and vowel constructions between Filipino languages (especially Cebuano) and Malay.
bisaya is from the location which is visayan... sa akong nahidomdoman sa akong history of visayan culture...
