i dunno about you guys.. but i think it's a prerequisite to see to it both that end road ends should be widen first before starting building a flyover.. as i observed it, it doesn't significantly change the traffic condition.. it may perhaps do us away with all the traffic light hassles, but apparently it gives us another headache by creating a bottleneck at both ends..

correct ka dyan giver_bert. our government has a master plan so to speak. this is done by qualified consultants and planners. however during implementation, tingi-tingi ang budget. have you ever asked yourself why a newly cemented road gibakbak kay maglubong ug culverts para sa drainage? -- ang reason, nauna ug ka approve ang budget for the road while naawahi ang budget for the drainage and they have to implement the cementing of the road project kay naa man sad sila schedule nga dapat mahuman nana within a certain number of days from the time the budget was approved. then a few months after una pa ma approve ang drainage nga budget... its a waste... mao ra sad ni ang mga road widening. lain man ang nagpa approve sa mga flyover, lain sad ang nagpa approve sa road widening. dapat they should act together collectively in order not to waste peoples money.

Flyovers don't do anything. It is a short-term solution to a long-term problem. Instead of spending money to patch holes, new roads and new plans should be bought altogether. Take a cue from islands with little land like Oahu or Hong Kong.

Kanang gibuhat nila sa dan sa Banilad Town Center, I think dako kaayo nang palpak. Kanang gi himu nila'g bottleneck so that cars coming from talamban can turn left to BTC, mao nay naka-traffic sa banilad area.

I think the solution is to have a centralize mass transportation.. rather than individual operators of jeepneys and bus running around the city. but then again, it comes to budget and how much loan we can get... cebu

Murag padung na sa mass transit! Gisugdan ni osmena pagdili sa pagsulod na sa jeep from mandaue in the north and talisay-tabunok in the south. That is the underlying cause...gihinayhinay lang!
