i have friends who cant speak straight/fluent english BUT are still or currently employed in cvg. as in during calls they sometimes speak tagalog and try to imitate kris aquino coz they thought it's good to hear. practice and take note of the things you need to learn. When I applied years ago in PS, I asked the things I need to improve. They told me I need to learn how to enunciate the words properly so I practiced, studied and read how to enunciate the words. I took down notes, recorded my voice using my cp and if im not satisfied and cant understand the word, i'd repeat it over and over til it would sound better.

Think english. not our own dialect then translate the word. the tendency is you will slow down and chop the sentences into phrases. most american customers prefer you to sound intelligent, calm and simple than ala kris aquino who sways the words inappropriately. you also need to understand what the customer is talking so you can respond to them correctly.

speaking english is not a basis of your intelligence mr. xavisimao.. ur fond of insult jud or it sounds like it rather than giving advices.. I can recall you commented also in one of my thread sir.. that is only my observation...

there are a lot of people whom we can tell that they are not good in english, but they are very brilliant and intelligent..

Hi godgavemeyou.. I don't know what's your history with xavisimao but for this particular post of his, I don't think he's insulting the TS or questioning his intelligence. It's just that he placed a smiley on the last part but that does not necessarily mean that he's insulting the TS. I don't know about you but it seems to me that he's even giving the TS some advice on how to improve his english skills.

no offense, but i believe some things dont fit to some people. sometimes, u dont need to learn to force yourself to be someone/something just to reach your dreams. sometimes, you need to find another field or another career path. (i surrender)lol

IMHO, keep reading English novels or whatever that interest you and watch english movies. I think if you make that a habit ma-improve imung english.
