Try the jem prestige its way better than the "Steve-vai artist series" those have thicker necks than the Jem Prestige

if you like thicker neck then why go Ibanez? You might as well go for strat type w/ hb pickups like Fender, Suhr, Anderson, G&L, and other strat clones.

i have a strat clone by hammer called the slammer, its pretty decent...hehehe for 5k brand new way back 2000.
epiphone les pauls are pretty ok sad, much heavier though.

but i really would like to own a gibson SG someday.
