I think so too. More traffic enforcers will not help at all if they're there just for show. I've seen a lot of them just sitting and chatting in some sari2x stores nearby instead of manning the traffic situations.

We have a lot of traffic signs too but nobody is enforcing them. For example, there's a huge No Left Turn sign at the back of the Capitol bldg in M. Velez where there's always a bottle neck during peak hours. The sign is there but you see a whole lot of vehicles turning left. There's no traffic enforcer there and I guess people will observe traffic rules ONLY when there's someone watching.

It says a whole lot about discipline. We simply don't have it. We will never prosper if we refuse to grow up, show respect and discipline even when nobody's watching.

Woe to us the Filipino people !

they should build more flyovers especially in foodland area... and they should put or create designated PUJ stops... PUJ could cause build ups when they stop anywhere in the unloading/loading area...

The real cause of the traffic problem in Banilad is the feud of Boss Tomas and Empress Gwen. Its a good thing that these local political bosses has a spat. Now everybody is setting its sight to Banilad. In reality, traffic on that site was already a problem during peak hours five years ago. The widening of that road that goes all the way to Pit-os should have been completed and without delay. Another alternate route should also be made. Hernan Cortes Rd. which was already congested should also be widened to four lanes. This would ease the traffic in Banilad because Hernan Cortes goes directly to Kabankalan road. Kabankalan should be connected all the way to Canduman. I also agree with Tomas that a circumferential road should be built to avoid the traffic in the midtown areas like Escario, Gen Maxilom, Gorordo. Let's get our fingers crossed so that this will become a reality.

OsmeƱa will ask PGMA to fund the multi-billion-peso inner urban circumferential road to ease traffic in the city, particularly in the Banilad area...

    if this project will realize...

then we will see bridges and two tunnels that will connect to the proposed flyover in Banilad....
