Jimrex Jaca wins in round 7
Jimrex Jaca gained on Saturday the World Boxing Organization Asia-Pacific championship belt in the superfeatherweight class after Simson Butar Butar of Indonesia was counted out in round 7 in their scheduled 12 round championship bout, DZMM reported.
Simson Butar Butar, intentionally went down in round 7 and spat out his mouthpiece. When he refused to stand, the referee counted him out.
Jaca pounded the Indonesian boxer with punishing blows in round 7 apparently tiring him out in the process.
Coming into the fight Simson Butar Butar of Indonesia also known as "The Terminator" had a record of 15 wins under his belt, 11 of which came from knock-outs.
Jimrex Jaca improved his record 28 wins and 3 losses. 13 of his wins now came from knock-outs.
The Jaca - Butar Butar bout was part of the "Moment of Truth" card Saturday night at the Cebu City Sports Center.
