good topic... My wife has the white one and I have the black so I literally can compare them and here is my observation. White gives you a great contrast of black screen and white frame, and yes its more eye-candy compared to the black one. BUT, have you ever wondered why tv has a black frame and not white? imagine yourself watching with a white frame, you will be distracted by it. Thats the reason for the black frame, it gives you the illusion of having a bigger screen and the frame blends really well.

also, apple always release more black at first, I dont know why but with that, it gives the white more exclusivity.

in the end I still choose the black one.
