hi,

DRUMAGOG is design for post production. But, it can be used for live recording. Just pay special attention to your LATENCY. Also, you must have an individual track for each(e.i. 1 track for snare, 1 track for kick and etc.).

If you're working with loops, all you need to do is to slice the part you want to replace and put it in a dedicated track where your DRUMAGOG is located as a plugin.

And, for best result, you can either EQ and compress or both or put a reverb. It's a matter of taste, Meaning, NO RULES!!!!!!!!!

i use two tracks for a snare (top and bottom) and two for kick as well, put an old plastic card(credit card, id, ) where the kick batter would hit the bass drum for the click sound, if you have lots of inputs in your audio interface,mas tsada jud lahi ang top ug bottom snare, keep the top snare channel dry while the bottom with its post bus naa plate type reverb, lalum kau paminawun ang snare, and pwede e compress nimu ang top and bottom, samut na grabehun nimu compress ang bottom plate verb daun taas ug release and attack, murag bon jovi bai, hehe hilig jud ko karaan recording sa drums, lami mag compress ug snare ug kick,

that will depend on what sound you want to achieve as a whole. you see, resonant can be a good musical tool if use properly. so don't ingore resonant , totally. because it might help.

here's my rule to myself, listen to the whole mix and find out what's lacking. actually, you can't really tell the outcome until it is done.

im part of a local label here in cebu: SARUA records and we wanna spark the music business here, and not segregate music dri cebu..
mapa pop, bisrock, rap, hip hop,metal, emo, bisag unsa: if we could just appreciate all these aspects and support out local artists, anything is possible d ba.

... so fellow producers rise and be recognized...(basin naay future timbaland dha or maybe swizz beatz)
