apple would definitely uses LiquidMetal Technology on their latest Ip5. This type of technology is pliant and stronger that the metals used in the market yet very soft to adhere on what shapes the Ip5 would be. This technology was supposedly used on the Ip4s but Apple thought otherwise to just release it on their new biggest iteration to date (from the previous iphones they have), definitely, 4+" screen, and a screen edge to edge all over(just like what Nokia is using on their Lumias, where the picture on the phone seems to float on top of the screen)

Appy has definitely learn the lesson (the hard way) when they've released Ip4s where it was just a minute revision in terms of form factor from the standard Ip4... Ip5, will according to the recent release last quarter of this year.. will sport a 4"+ screen size.
