usually less than a week...pag kamatison (inflamation),additional of 3-5 days healing..

Yer welcome. Additionally, we usually do the dorsal slit. Circumcision's main purpose is for hygeine. The dorsal cut is the choice because it doesn't remove any tissue, less traumatic. The German cut removes practically the whole foreskin and is done when circumcision is done on infants. On older kids we just do the dorsal slit unless there's an indication to do a German cut. The German cut is done using an instrument, the gomco. This is used on infants. Discuss this with your brother. Let him choose. The dorsal slit only looks bad in the beginning but, eventually, it will look better.
