Globe Visibility.. Anyone Using?

Hey guys, I just got my globe visibility modem the other day. I would say it is worth it. I am currently using it as I am typing and it has been connected for 5 hours now. First ni nakong gi gamit, daghan kog problem nga na encounter. Pero, being techsupport before sa call center for a dsl account, na gamit gyud nako akong na kat-onan.

Sa akong training nakat-on ko to look at pc hardware problem first before I blame the connection... so mao na akong gi buhat.

Let me give you the problems I encountered and the solutions by sequence.

1) Upon installation, the globe visibility software will not load and will crash.
solution: Install the driver and software in safemode.
2) After software and driver is installed, the computer will crash.
solution: naka matngon ko nga ang mouse usually ang mo crash, before ang whole computer... the mouse is plugged into another usb2 port same as the visibility.... transferred mouse to usb1.0 and leave visibility on usb port 2.0 (possible hardware conflict)
3) Once I get connected, when my browser opens a site, the unit will be disconnected and ie will be closed.
solution: I was using a different usb cable extension... dili ang provided by globe... probably dili kaya sa cable nga akong gi used so I made sure to use the cable provided with the unit.
4) Mao ni usual problem (cannot get signal, if there is signal connot connect, if there is connection no page loading on browser)
solution: usually this is caused by electro magnetic interference (remember viisibility is a modem) so I made sure that the unit is not on top of the pc, not near the monitor, speaker, or any electronic device)

After ana I got a good connection... first disconnection nako was after 3 hours of surfing... I am now using it for 5 hours, I have used it for another 5 hours straight and okay gyud kaayo.

I hope this helps those that are having problems with their globe visibility unit... I really like globe because compared to smart, nindot ilang customer service.

unsa ang difference sa normal nga prepaid sim card ug ang sim nga gigamit sa visibility? sim card lang ha dli lang nato i-apil ang modem.

some countries nag-offer ug ingon ani nga technology like singapore pero ang kalahian lang kay ang price ra sa data/min. if normal sim gamit nimo for internet then mas higher ang price/min kay sa data sim, pero kung data sim sad gamit nimo for SMS/call mas dako2x sad bayad compare nimo sa normal nga sim.

My friend has the globe prepaid one. And I'm telling you its not worth it! We are in the heart of the city and even friendster won't load. It's completely useless, plus it disconnects every 10~30seconds. Sometimes you get lucky, you get like 512kbps connection. But most of the time its only around 100~200kbps. btw my friends selling his prepaid kit, just to get rid of it. We are in Cagayan De Oro city.

sus way ayo Globe Visibility, pray that dili maguba na ang inyong unit kay hangtud karon 2 weeks na wala pa gyud nila ma repair/replace akong modem, gi pasa pasa lang ko sa Globe/Semicon/Nokia center, karon hulat ko tawag kung asa gyud XD

paspas gamay sa dial up brod.... depinde sa area kung kusog signal paspas pud....
para laptop raman ang advantage ana bro...... pero puede sad sa desktop pero mao lagi kusog gamay sa dial up.....
