Overall? Zune ko. Ive had the Ipon mini, the photo, the nano 1st gen, nano 2n gen, 30gb video and 80GB video...

With tha much Ipod experience.. and one Zune .. id go for the Zune =P they both have cons pero mas daghan potential ang zune.

it was very tempting to get the zune but i still ended up getting a new ipod video instead because of form factor, accessories and support even if it doesn't come with and FM tuner or WiFi but who cares about wireless file sharing when you are listening to your fave tunes at the airport or subway, it will just eat up your battery life. you can download or share over P2P anyway.

zune's time will probably come but that time is definitely not now. they also have weak marketing and product hype. products like these need a "community" thing. zune being made by toshiba japan is also more sturdy and durable compared to ipod which is made in china. the ipod has better battery life though. the only thing i hate about ipod is the absence of a built-in FM tuner and they could have thrown in better quality ear phones.

zen is a good product but the push was also weak, lesser hype thus a smaller community and fewer accessories

WiFi is definitely a "good to have". i am constantly on a train or on a plane and i seriously thought, my battery life is already short as it is then why the heck would i share mp3 files with a stranger or a friend when both of us can download it freely on P2P or buy it from iTunes?

bottomline is it is a good to have but will rarely be used. probably the next gen ipods will have WiFi & touchscreen.
