assuming i love my bestfriend and my boyfriend, i'd prob'bly ask my boyfriend what he thinks is the best thing to do.. if he's okai w/ the idea of sharing him w/ my bestfriend for a while, then why not?!?! i'd do anythin for ppl who i care so much about...

That is "if" your boyfriend would approve on the situation you're giving him in which I doubt he wouldn't. Crazy alright but I still go for my previous answer on this.

Point taken too although I don't think I can live the rest of my life grieving for not granting a friends last request. I would show her that I did my part at least but it just doesn't work. And if possible, I would argue with her on this matter untill she gives up on that request. *laughs*

I understand but the thing is, she's is dying. We often tell people that last wishes are meant to be given especialy when the person is important to you. On the scene, it was stated that she's always been in love with your boyfriend since though she kept it to herself untill the timecame that she'll banish forever.

ambot...all i know is that i can't give up my boyfriend for a dying friend, i mean i love them both, i may even love my bestfriend more, but it's hard. i guess i'll just explain it to my bestfriend that the situation is impossible, it's not being selfish man siguro, i mean she's dying na gali, mas dapat niya hunahunaon ang mga mabiyaan niya rather than herself.

in my case i usually let friends tag along during my dates with my boyfriend, same with my friends i tag along during their dates too. i hope ma-kontento na akong friend ani nga setup.

let's put ourselves the shoes sa dying friend:
if i am the dying friend, i can't ask my friend to do this. mas ako pa hunahunaon ang kalipay sa akong mga biyaan than myself, i'm dying, there's nothing i can do (hello!), samtang sila, they still have their lives to run, i can't ruin their happiness just for some feelings i've been secretly harboring for so long. sure, pwede gihapon sila magbalik when i'm gone but then there's always the barrier na. another thing is, for sure they will be grieving for me when i'm gone, dili nako magpuno ug laing grief nila, losing me is enough, losing their relationship would be too much.

Mind boggling indeed. If it was me, who would I choose? Boyfriend or best friend, boyfriend or best friend... honestly? If he's really the man I'd be spending the rest of my life with? I'd talk to my best friend, ask her how she feels about him and ask her what if the situation is the other way around. What if I was the one dying, would she spare her boyfriend for me? If she said yes, I'll tell her "do you think I am that selfish to ask for your boyfriend when I know in fact that I am dying? I don't think so. I rather see you at my last days happy than take away your happiness till my time ends. I chose you to be my best friend because you have accepted the whole of me and I did the same, I love you and I'm happy for you." If she agrees with what I have to say, it's even better. I'd get to keep my best friend and my boyfriend.

@kenart: That's what I have in mind too, a bit similar with yours but if my best friend insist on her last wish, then I'm afraid it'll end up granting her wish. If the guy is indeed in love with me, I don't think he wants to see me suffer although I would still suffer the consequences of giving him up, but at least he would make it a little easier for me. I mean, it is never easy making decisions and taking its risks but it would only make it harder if he insist on being with me knowing the fact that in the end I would be blaming myself for not granting such request.
