Song composition: Technicality? or Musicality?

He does have a point though .... kay a song needs to have a hook to make it memorable.. or for the song to have a strong impact on its listener. I bet there's tons of well-written lyrics out there pero mahug ra sa limot or dili ma tagad `cause the melody just can't support the lyrics well enough.

I agree with this one, coz no matter how good the lyrics are, if the melody doesn't compliment it, it'll be yesterday's news even before it gets the chance to be aired on the radio.
