" STANDARD for UTP is only 100 meters.. as moonrose said 90 meters for the horizontal and the rest (10 meters) are for the pactcord allowance and cross connection between equipment.. Thats the STANDARD to achieve the 100mbs speed or the 1000mbs speed (depending on the switch that you use) for the UTP media.. AS Telecommunication Industry Assocaition (TIA) specified.

If your gonna exceed that length it doesnt mean that you can no longer send tru this media but there would be some error like attenuation(the signal weakening of signal from your equipment) . , Crosstalk etc. even tough you properly terminated your I/O's and RJ45...

certified structured cabling, if i was a company that does structured cabling, asa diay ko magpa certify sa akong company? naa ba EIA/TIA certifications para maka ingon ta nga certified structured cablers ta?

Kung critical imo business dapat certified nga contractor sa cabling, naa proven track record.
Kuyawa diay no ug kuha ka ug installer/cabler or installation/ cabling company, unya ingnon lang ka...unsay standard? dili man mi estudyante, no need for research...so no need na ang standard! bwehehehe
