looking for tips on having a pet goldfish

its ok streetcar hehe.. 4 nalang jud nabilin. one just died last night. ang last remaining pinakatambok. basta lagi cge na og standby near the surface og dili na mahadlok hikapon..morag inihap na jud oras.. yeah..unsaon man daghan man master gud..naa man si dad mag sige insist og iyang pamaagi pod..maoy magboot.oic.dili lang pod diay ako.yeah, naay time na matabang pa jud..makarecover..pero ang uban.la na jud.

near the window man ang akong aquarium. la naman gud other place kabutangan.mao jud.it gets cloudy dayon.malangsa dayon ang baho.yupz, i do have that water conditioner you've mentioned back then (AQUATAN, which is 5 in 1).

hehe..mao jud..you want to have those different pets as your own..my friend even suggested get daw a turtle, a mini lobster, eel etc..hahaha! ok lang basta less maintenance lang jud..

hi titanium, 4 to go at this time...i hope naay mabilin bisan one or two kadaghan adto before looking at the photos you posted. sayang no? since you can't move na your aquarium just put a cloth or towel over the aquarium to cover the side nga expose to daylight. It should be fine. I hope naay opening imong aquarium sa hood that way some fresh air can also circulate sa aquarium if yours comes with a hood or cover sa top. well, you've done your best what more can you possibly do. Its really nice to have pets. It teaches you kindness. And its also a great therapy especially for kids. What next kaha? About me naman, naa pa ko bunny as of now. If she goes someday, dili sa ko mag pet for a while. I want to but its hard to get tied up to this responsibility of upkeeping and cleaning lagi. How bout try a turtle? I dont know anything about turtles but i know they make good pets. I'm just not sure if they are less maintenance than fish. Sige magdungan ta ug palit turtle someday when you are ready for it oks? Just let me know.

3 more nalang jud.. hopefully.mas taas stamina kung lalaki.ang duha is lalaki man.dali man mamatay mga babaye na mga tambok mejo suko gani si dad na usik usik lang ko kwarta..nangahurot lang kamatay..hehehe..mao gani mo shift ko to guppies or tiger barbs para less maintenance.lesser popo.

yupz! sayang jud.ok lang.part sa learning experience.didto ko ganiha sa SM na petshop. nalingaw ko tan-aw sa daghan fish nila didto..maayo kay naay mga name.dili man ko sweto what this name looks like, etc.at least mejo na exposed na ko different types..hehe. mejo mahal jud baligya sa SM.pero nice kaayo ilang mga aquarium setup for sale.nalingaw ko sa dakong aquarium with guppies lang..to see those baby guppies naa sa sand og plants.morag one complete environment na jud cla.

yah..kapoy raba og kalos water padong aquarium..was planning gani to get a much smaller aquarium nalng unta for the last 3 goldfish. kay kalas og water kung didto cla sa aquarium unya cla ra 3.. buy lagi unta kog glass cutter og sander.para DIY nalang ko himo og customized aquarium. i always like to do DIY stuffs..hehe..walay lingaw.

its always nice to have pets around..hmmm..im kinda interested getting that mini lobster pod.morag ok pod xa tan-awon mo summersault sa water..hehe..tumbling2 pod.turtles..morag ok pod(cute kaayo.morag piso ra kadakoa pero tag 180 pod lagi)..pero better katong tortoise.kay mg cge lang kaon og grass..mas modagay pa kaysa nato..hehe..

Koi in japanease or carp is not a goldfish..closely related lang xa sa goldfish.. moa diay long life..hehe! dili prehas aning goldfish jud kay taas mortality rate.. bantog ra walay ngbaligya sa SM petshop or even sa mga aquarum shops ana..didto ra sa gilid gilid sa magallanes..tsk tsk tsk..

ingon pa ni dad.may ba mgbuhi og tilapia or kanang carp daw..puwede pa sugbahon..hahaha! ngita ko unya og mga seminar sa BFAR..interested nako how to culture and breed this fishes..hehe..

hi titanium sori kalimot ko ug tubag sa previous nimo nga posting i planned on responding nag enjoy ko ug tubag sa uban nga mga topics just for fun, heh....so where are we now? i tried searching sa internet earlier unsay itsura anang imong mga gipang mention nga isda. Pangit man tong guppies nga akong nakit-an online. I did not get a chance to surf for the tiger barbs you mentioned.. Wow you are really into this fish thingy ha? tell your dad to make you a pond na lang didto na lang ka magbuhi ug isda lol at tilapia i was also going to tell you that....you see, i am so kind to fish since naka experience na ko ug pet nga goldfish maluoy ko mokaon ug isda now when i eat fish, akong ipaputol ang ulo. Why? I can't bear to see the fishhead and the eyes staring at me when i eat it. Eversince ko nagka pet ug isda maluoy ko. it always reminds me of my fish, heheh

titanium, nia ra akong isda nga namatay about 2 years ago on my birthday. this fish when we got it, it was so small gibutang lang siya sa gamay nga jar. So many years after, it got this big. As you see, its a plain goldfish. And my aquarium wa gyud sulod isda ra, lol. I dont even know what kind siya. Do you know what kind my Goldie was? BTW, how can you tell babae or laki ang isda? I hope mag survive imong remaining 3 goldfishes. Keep me updated

its ok streetcar. no problemo. hehe..nindot na gani nang guppies na pictures makita online..mas pangit sa petstore..dili parehas sa naa online..cute og gagmay manang guppies..dako dako lang gamay ang tiger barbs unya paspas kau mo burst langoy..morag mga little mermaid manang guppies with their fancy and big tails..hehe..

hmmm.. kinda into fish na.since ok man pod himoon business ang hobby db? maka kwarta pa ta unya og enjoy pa what your doing.

hmmm..actually we have mini ponds na long time ago since our house was built in the mid 80's. i think it needs renovation, that is make a finishing coating on it coz the rain water leaks na..used to be full of rain water before. pero drained na coz daghan lamok..hehe. that would suffice for now kung mg koi or carp ko.. but i do need to put chicken wire if ever above the pond.. daghang puskal dire.. mangilog gani pagkaon sa among dog.. basin mgpista unya ang iring sa mga isda sa pond..tsk tsk tsk..

hehe..bitaw,maka imagine jud ka if ever mokaon ka fish.. ako man gani taga hasang sa fish and clean it before placing sa fridge..just have to separat the fish we eat from the pet fish..hehe.

i've read and the sellers mentioned it that much longer and slimmer ang body sa mga lalaki na fish. ang mga baye kay short ang body unya bloated tiyan..dagko tiyan..hahaha!

yupz, the 3 are still alive..hopefully. pero im beginning to doubt sa usa.katong baye. coz her gold color seemed to fade napod..just like the others..then dili na modogay..next candidate napod unya..waaahhh! 2 nalang lalaki mabilin ani ron.. all three are of different variety..

im already itching to replace them with tiger barbs or guppies..ahhaha.. pero my parents are not too enthusiastic about that..was planning to get a smalller aquarium para sa akong tiger barbs..and maybe for that mini lobster pod..hehe..

hi titanium, morag kapaliton na sab ko ug isda because of our exchanges too bad i donated all my aquarim stuff. I'll have to buy a new aquarium. Sige mo try kuno ko ug tropical fish this time but not sure i'll have to look at the varieties sa pet store see which one i like. Mga knowledgeable man sab kaayo ilang mga staff they can answer all my questions bout tropical fish or another kind of fish kung dili tropical basin balik na sab ko sa Goldfish pero manigta ko ug nice kaayo. I like those neon tetras or how about the discus or the angel fish. I dont know yet. Nag surf ko online i like a lot of nice fishes. Much more sa pet store wow daghan gyud kaayo nice lagi. Palit pa ko ug aquarium. Maybe i'll get a 40 gallon one. I'll let you know once i get a new one. N excited sab ko dire aning isda. Naa man diay mo pond. Sayang make use of it then. Gusto sab ko ug pond. I dont have a pond here. Maybe someday sa Pinas magpahimo na lang ko ug Pond that has always been a part of what i like in a home. A pond, greenhouse and a gazebo kay ang akong line of interest naa ra dinha isda, gardening.

BTW, thanks sa tip kung rounded and tambok tiyan babae ang isda kung long and skinny its a guy. I'll remember that when i'm out to look for a fish. About color sa imong goldfish, magkadaku na sila mas modaghan ang puti nga part sa ilang color. BTW, the food flakes that you buy basin walay color enhancer. Naa man mga flakes nga color enhancer pud. That's the kind i used to buy for my Goldie. Wanne bet? naay mabilin anang imong goldfish

yupz! naa jud na mabilin nila. ganiha akong gibutangan og mga 30+ wrigglers. nangahadlok man hinoon cla. keeping away. pero busog pa cguro cla that time..after a few hours kay nawala naman ang mga wrigglers.gikaon na..haha! i really thought na arte ning 3 nabilin. dili mokaon og wrigglers. they used to katong daghan pa cla.. and morag permi sad cguro cla full. cge naman hinoon sleep sa ilalom. unlike before na cge lang og swim swim.karon kay mga sleepy heads naman.hahaha! buddy kaayo ang duha ka male.sweet kaayo cla duha.mgtapad jud na cla duha mgsleep..rarely ra mo join ang baye nila.

you should try those flowerhorns db kanang mga arowanas.. they do grow big too. expensive lang og samot na mga pagkaon.mao na la ko venture ana..ari ra ko sa cheap..hehe.. :mrgreen:

^^ musta na akong baby isda dire I came across this blogspot that says what is your ideal pet? then mine is fish. Then the answer a fish lover is laid back( relax and calm), quiet, and content with their own little world but just don't stare at that fishtank for too long! hehehe, sounds true? Kaon diay imong isda ug worms, ngeek. careful basin magka disease na sila worms in their tummy. my goldie did not like the floaters kind of food she loved the flakes made with color enhancer. yeah am thinking of buying another aquarium pero 40 is the most i can go that is already so big bisan mga 20 plus gallons oks na siguro for my bedroom. Before 10 gallons ra to kang Goldie she was getting big for that aquarium i think dapat sa pond na to siya gi transfer or i should have gotten a much larger one. Mao siguro to namatay she was getting crowded in that 10 gallon aquarium. Well if i have to buy one not so big siguro kanang gamay ra just for my room. So you wanna get into raising and selling fishes? Not bad since hilig sab nimo i'm sure it will be fun for you. Ayoha sa na imong Pond para maka snorkeling sab ta then butangan nato ug Spa, hehehe ur funny titanium. Lobster in one side and fish half of the pond. Are you going to raise lobster as pet or to sell for cooking lobster? Lami ra ba kaayo na lobster. Bakla man siguro na imong isda ngano duha ka guys magtapad unya ang babae dili motapad, lol yeah, its nice to observe them and soon you'll know which one is closest to your heart among the three. hehehe.. buhi pa ang 3 so far.mao bah.yah,sort of.. yah.kaon jud cla.wrigglers man.dili man worm..mas ok man pod cguro eat cla live food panagsa besides those fish fud.para pod balance ila diet ah ok..mas ok lagi unta bigger tank.mga 50gal.next time nlang kung naa enough budget.hmmm..could be.since dako na jud xa.dapat bigger napod unta iya tank. im still thinking about it.maybe not now dayon.practice usa as a hobby having a fish. mag planted tank naman pod gani ko.kay na interested jud ko nindot kaayo tank sa uban.that would really be an ideal home for guppies..hehehe.mao jud.kagamay ra adtong fishpond ni dad.2x2 feet raman cguro to unay mga 1.5 ft rapod kalalum.mora rapod aquarium outdoors hahaha! that won't be such a good idea.the lobster would climb up and transfer to the fishes and feast on the fishes..actually the its a crayfish.just a relative of lobsters. it won't grow big and end up on dinner plate.. mas ok xa coz eats almost anything daw plus less maintenance. and you only have to feed it 2 to 3 days.dili jud daily feeding.lolz! mao jud..basin na bakla na kay walay kaparehas nila na variety na female.hehehe..mga sipat jud ang mga guys..i think they're nipping the end tail of the babae..kay morag ngpahak pahak naman intawn ang ikog..tsk tsk tsk.i like the gold with black fins.morag pinaka astig jud xa.mora pod xa koi,naa black spots..ok.i'll wait.mas nindot og bonga pa jud cguro nang imong setup for sure
