Mods, paki move lang if dili angay diri sa General Discussions.

Findingmiming, interested kayo ko aning home brewing. By the way this is due to some external influences like some other nation's culture, beer taste, friends and etc. I think I've done the least research already to be able to start home brewing, I've even bought the book called "The Joy Of Homebrewing" by Charlie Papazzian (google it). To inform you, I guess you've already known this, but many of the beer brewing ingredients are not available here in the Philippines (AFAIK). However, from what I've learned (from my brewer friend) most filipino brewers bought their ingredients from outside of the country (e.g. brewer's yeast, malt, flavors, grains, etc.). But despite of this, I don't loose hope and I still wanna try brewing. FYI, I have not tried brewing yet but I have 50% of the ingredients and 20% of the brewing materials - I believe. So if you are interested we can set some kind of a meeting to brainstorm how we can start brewing in our homes. . You may email me at slcripters@hotmail.com

P.S. Im glad to know your interested, are you from Cebu?

    John,

Pde sad mag all-grain brewing ta. Naa ko kaila actually brewer gyud siya as in maka buhat siya ug several batches every year. He told me and based on my research sad, na pde ra mag all-grain brew, we just need barley which we can buy in agrivet stores like pacifica. Pero problem here is that animal grade pana, nakasuway naman sila ug brew using it ok raman pero nice pd gyud unta kung paagian pag process para ma human food grade gyud siya. Otherwise, mangita tag contac taga gawas para mu buy tag ingredients, by balikbayan box ato paliton mas sulit ug mas nindot. Nindot tag maka plano ta ani (findingmiming) kanang makasuway gyud ta ba.
