TS, you must know that more likely than not (most but not all), pride abounds in men who are mentally gifted...the reason being is that, they decide logically and base it on what they know and what they have observed...pride comes in when you try to negate what they have come to decide, because they have enough reasons to support what they believe in...and more often than not, you'll realize that they've hit the problem right at its soft spot.

Men with high IQ, are also idealistic (and i guess this is true to women also). They have their own opinion at things, and they stick to it and try to live with it in expense of their own emotion...but that doesn't mean they're narrow minded.

Pride is as natural as breathing to everyone TS, what your complaining is pride itself, just stepped on. If you love him, listen, otherwise leave...

i agree with @xyrcler im a logical person, most of the times my decisions always hits the bullseye (so far), when my wife screw things up because she didnt listen to me, its always me who clean the mess.... im an open minded person, for i can accept corrections if made a mistakes... pride is just the least thing i think off...

Igo ko ani dah!, I sometimes do have pride in me, na most of the time ako maoy sakto para nko, my partner did say that it hurts her every time na mag conflict me, but most of the time sakto man pud ko especially akong partner maypagka bata-on pud and always do foolish things when provoked and when she become emotionally unstable. The thing that made me this kay most of the time man gud she commits the same mistake and doesn't take note of it.
