People have to understand that in a situation like this, it will be the driver who will be the most likely victim/fatality. Why? The driver is responsible for the vehicle--his WHOLE ATTENTION is on the vehicle and making sure he is focused on the job of driving. This is why some drivers assign KUNDUKTOR so that the can concentrate on the road. I wouldn't be surprised if this jeep had passengers (except obviously in the front seat), who were able to react more quickly than the driver kay dili man sila ga-drive. Thus, his focus on the road ahead, coupled with his concentration on driving, perhaps made him less aware of his surroundings, and thus the fatal result.
