us just the way He wanted to. When we feel prideful because we have accomplished a lot,
we need to realize where our abilities came from. On the other hand, If we are confused
or discouraged because we cannot seem to discover the meaning for our lives, we can
rest assured that Almighty God has divine purpose for us. "God doesn't love us because
we are valuable. WE ARE VALUABLE BECAUSE GOD LOVES US!

Lord, as the New Year begins, we come to You and ask for your blessing. We pray
that You would give us joy to fill our days, peace to fill our hearts, and to love to fill
our lives. Thank you for the plans You have for us in this New Year. We wait in
joyful anticipation to see all You will do. Amen.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Life is an undying cycle. It's a battle of survival. If you quit, then you're a
loser. If you fall, then stand up. If you keep on complaining about miseries
of your life, nothing will happen. God doesn't throw stones that we cannot
catch. Live with him and everything will turn out right.

Many serve God because of fear of hell, thinking that it's their escape pass from it.
Others serve God because of heaven, thinking that it's their ticket of entrance into it. But
true lovers of God serve Him simply because of love, not because of fear of punishment,
not because of expectation of reward, but simply because of who GOD is.

Let our LOVE FOR GOD be our main reason why we are serving Him.
