SC2 never really planned to have a monthly fee or prepaid cards. It's only in the Philippines where they had that applied because not everyone can afford 3.5k or not everyone is willing to pay that much. But most likely they will have Life-time gameplay options and prepaid options.

This may only be one time. It's called marketing strategy. Dota 2, even though it has not been released yet has A LOOOOOOT of competition. HoN, LoL and even the original Dota. Statistically LoL has the most active community of players, and Valve, putting up a $1M dollar prize is their way to try and steal a large portion of the market that is already with those gaming franchises.

The GSL in korea is monthly :P I wonder if DoTA 2 can do as well once it is released, tried and tested.

Interesting. I think this will do to LOL/HON what CS did to Quake/Doom.

Free 2 Play ba ning Dota 2? pareha ba ni xa sa mga bag-o games karon nga walay LAN and need jud ka mupurchase jud sa game para maka duwa online? If so, murag ma fail jud ning Dota 2. Ang LoL ug HoN free 2 play. nya pwera gaba lang.... batia sa graphics oe.... layo ras HoN....
